Clouds in a Jar

Today we tried to create clouds in a jar. We put warm water in a jar and then put cold ice on the top of the jar. Our experiment didn't work that well. We thought like scientists and asked why? Perhaps it was because the water that we were using was not hot enough!
To create a cloud...

The atmosphere needs three ingredients:

1. warm, moist air
2. cooling (which causes the moisture to lift)
3. cloud condensation nuclei or CNN (a CNN is any tiny solid or liquid found in the atmosphere - usually salt from the ocean, dust or pollution)
